Cybersecurity
Overview
Cybersecurity is a key requirement for computing, communication, and control systems. However, it becomes more and more challenging to protect systems from cyber threats largely due to the complexity of modern systems and the sophisticated nature of advanced attacks. Our core research in this area spans across hardware and software, and across data, applications, networks, systems, and security operations. Security topics studied include AI-assisted security, supply chain security, security operation automation, intrusion detection, network security, database security, and cloud security. Application domains include but are not limited to circuit design, smart grids, data-intensive applications, security operations, mobile computing, and internet-of-things.
