Security and Privacy

Our theoretical foundations and technology base has evolved from an early lineage of stand alone computers. Our computational infrastructure rapidly evolved into a highly networked framework of easily accessible systems that ushered in the need for new capabilities in security and privacy. Research within the Security and Privacy area is investigating new methods and technologies to guarantee the security and privacy of users behaviors and their information. Research within security and privacy focus on database, communication networks, architectures, and run-time systems.

Undergraduate, Masters, and PhD students form the core of this work in an interdisciplinary and team based environment.
