Di Recognized as Inventor

Dr. Jia Di, professor in Computer Science and Computer Engineering (CSCE) was recently part of a group of faculty inventors honored by the University of Arkansas at the third annual Inventor Appreciation Banquet.

Dr. Di was recognized for receiving a patent.  The patent, entitled "Ultra-Low Power Multi-Threshold Asynchronous Circuit Design," presents an innovative CMOS quasi-delay-insensitive style as asynchronous digital integrated circuit design methodology for ultra-low power electronics applications.

By incorporating the multi-threshold CMOS power gating structure in NULL Convention Logic (NCL) circuits, a set of advantages, e.g., active energy and leakage power saving, can be achieved.
