Steven Karp for CoE Early Career Alumni Award
Steven Karp is a Senior Systems Engineer in Juniper Networks. He graduated from the University of Arkansas with a BS in Computer Systems Engineering in 1999.
Steven Karp has an extensive industrial experience, starting as software engineer in IBM and now senior system engineer in Juniper Networks. He provides pre-sales guidance to major Juniper accounts in Arkansas and their subsidiaries across the country. He was selected as a Juniper 'Go-To' routing systems engineer. He received the "most aggressive team award" in the four state region for July 2015 in Juniper Networks. He was a senior network engineer in the Arkansas Research and Education Optical Network (ARE-ON) from 2008 to 2014, which supports education and research missions of the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and many other colleges in the state of Arkansas. He is very interested in supporting Computer Science and Computer Engineering Department. He is a member of the Advisory Board of Computer Science and Computer Engineering Department.
